In the fall of 1977 they began the process of obtaining the necessary • approvals for a duplex project on the site. On July 25, 1978 they received final approvals by the planning commission to allow seven duplex lots on the site (See Previous Actions)n The McCoys' home Occupies one of the lots leaving a net number of six buildable duplex lots. During this process, the McCoys have donated to the City a portion of their land for the street that connects 98th Ave. to the Kerwood Estates subdivision behind the property (See Previous Actions ZC 31-77). This street had no beneficial effect on the McCoys' property, but was given as a good citizen gesture in obtaining the duplex conditional use approval.
