Gentlemen; Tigard Oregon 97223
Several years ago you Lade an effort to get all houses single water meters,
I hate two houses on one meter and you made an exception for me at that time
because At the time I had two children in college and my funds were committed.
When I bought the house I did not know there was any kind of problem or would
have had the seller fix it up to your specifications. We agreed that a lein
would be put agains the property so it could not be sold again with a violation.
My children are out of college now and I want to get the slate clean on the
property, I went to get that lein removed, I have no intention of selling the
property but since I have money and a 16 yr old son to help dig this spring
and since Tigard is expanding at such on accelerated rate I want to deal with
you men rather than a bureau perhaps fifteen years from now when I get ready to sell.
Bob offered a reduced rate at the time and I am asking for that same consideration
now, not the some dollars but the same percentage of discount. He pointed out
that since the housed had been paying into the district for these many years
while new homes had not contributed their first dollar there was a consideration
made for each homeowner who would comply with your wishes to get one meter per
house. _
I am looking foreward to a favorable ruling on my request and will then begin
meaking plans for the project.
Thank you for your consideration in the pest and again now;
With kindest regards /(

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Schulze:
On December 10, 1974, Mr. Schulze appeared before the Board
of Commissioners, Tigard Water District, to request permission to
continue serving two horses (rentals) on one meter located at
12825 -35 S.W. Grant Strf•et. A resolution was passed by the Board
not to require you to install another meter at this time, but that
you agree to execute a lien against the property to the effect
that another meter would be installed when the property is either
sold or sub - divided. Any additional meter(s) installed after the
terminal date of March 31, 1975 would be charged at the existing
rate at that time.
Apparently, you have decided not to install the additional
meter and now it is time to execute an appropriate lien against
the property.
Enclosed is a document which will authorize you to continue
serving the two houses on one meter in accordance with the agree-
ment with the Board of Commissioners.
• Your signatures are requested on the enclosed document.
Signatures can be notarized by the undersigned at this office.
Very truly yours,
TIGARD WATER DISTRICT
