The City of Tigard Public Works would like to put an 8' X 40' storage container behind
Public Works Building located at: 8777 SW Burnham Street, Tigard, OR 97223. The
project managers are Mark Decastro ext. 2588 and Michelle Wright ext. 2445. Please call
either of us if you have any questions.
The below picture is sample of the containers at City of Vancouver. Our goal is to only
purchase one container 8' x 40'.

The City of Tigard Public Works currently stores tires on the ground, which start
deteriorative the tires. Our goal is to put these tires in the 8' X 40' storage container behind
Public Works building. The container we have requested will be painted a neutral color and
we can provide a screen of plants or trees along the fence line.
The City of Tigard's request falls into Track 1: Design Review Compliance Letter A
Design Compliance Letter provides for a Type I review process, using the clear and
objective Design Standards. It is intended for smaller building and site renovation projects,
which meet the threshold of 18.610.010.E.1.
The Director has found that this meets the requirements of Title 18 of the Tigard
Development Code.
