edition. The plans are approved subject to the following:
EROSION
• Erosion control measures shall be in place prior to excavation or grading.
ACCESSIBILITY
• Accessible walkways and routes shall not exceed a running slope of 1 unit vertical in
20 units horizontal (5% slope). Cross slopes shall not exceed 1 unit vertical in 50
units horizontal (2% slope).
• Accessible parking spaces, access aisles and accessible route to public way shall be
indicated on sheet AO
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall
be maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of instruction. 106.4.2 OSSC

The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)

edition. The following information is required prior to the issuance of a Site Permit:
EXCAVATION
1. The foundation plan has used an allowable soil.bearing pressure of 2500 per square
foot (psf). Provide a soils report to justify psf loading.
FIRE REVIEW
2. Complete the enclosed "TVF &R FIRE FLOW and HYDRANT WORKSHEET ". The
allowable area permitted and the number of hydrants required will be based on the
worksheet.
ACCESSIBILITY
3. Clarify the accessible route to the public way as required by section 1103.1 OSSC.
4. Clarify the detectable warnings that will be provided when the accessible route
crosses a vehicular way. See section 1103.2.3.2 OSSC
5. Accessible parking and access aisles appear on the South side of the Administration
Building, on sheet Cl I think. They are not identified. Provide curb cut type ramps or
any other method approved by the code for accessible access aisle.

6. Identify the accessible route from the access aisle on the plans including landings.

7. Provide a detail for an accessible parking sign and clarify the location. FYI, the
bottom of the sign is required to be 84 inches form grade.
FYI The plans do not indicate a connection to the sanitary sewer?
The Plumbing Code does not permit plumbing pipes to run parallel to a foundation
footing if they are in the zone of influence of the footing. The Sanitary and Storm
Sewer are close to the footing in a couple of places and depth is not indicated.
Please provide an item by item response.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
