All inspections and tests were performed and reported according to the requirements of Project Documents and, to the
best of our knowledge, the work was in conformance with the approved plans and specifications, approved change orders
and applicable workmanship provisions of the State Building Code and Standards, as well as the structural engineer's
design changes, approvals and verbal instructions.
Our reports pertain to the material tested /inspected only. Information contained herein is not to be reproduced, except in
full, without prior authorization from this office.

Status of construction:
Framing for ceiling 99% complete. Non - structural soffit panels (sound baffles) being installed.
Platform is framed, no finish materials in place.
Wall framing complete and sheet rocked.
Observations:
Purpose of the visit was to obse the installation of the ceiling system overt auditorium.
1. Horizontal ceiling brace to glu -lam beam at front of auditorium at side bays. Field condition
not covered by drawings. Minor modification to contractors installation required. See attached
sketch.
No other exceptions taken.
Purpose of Engineer's Site Visit
Structural observation does not include nor waive the responsibility for the inspections required
by International Building Code Sections 109 (building inspections) and 1704 (special
inspections) as defined in the Quality Assurance Plan.
The purpose of Engineer's visits to the site is to enable Engineer to provide for the Owner a
greater degree of confidence that the completed work of Contractor(s) will conform generally to

Design Documents and that the integrity of the design concept as reflected in the Design
Documents has been implemented by Contractor(s).
Construction observation means the visual observation of the structural system in accordance
with IBC Section 1709, including, but not limited to, the elements and connections at significant
construction stages, and the completed structure for general conformance to the approved
plans and specifications.
Construction observation as defined in this section is not to be relied upon by others as a
guarantee of the work and not to be construed to relieve the Contractor(s) of its obligations and
responsibilities under the construction contract, approved permit documents, and applicable
workmanship provisions of the International Building Code and standards referenced by the
approved permit documents.
Construction observation does not include responsibility for the inspection or superintendence of
construction processes, site conditions, operations, equipment, personnel or the maintenance of
a safe place to work, or any safety in, on, or about the work site.
