Tigard, OR 97223 -4705 Dear Pat. and Susan; After inspecting the Fireplace Extraordinar 35CB fireplace at 11860 SW 127` Pl., Tigard, Oregon and talking to the factory, it was determined that the access hole that was put in the unit due to the beam that obstructed the factory access hole is perfectly suitable. The flex pipe was installed correctly and sleeved as per code. The factory installed access hole is for the convenience of the installing contractors and in the event it cannot be used, adding a new access hole is acceptable as long as it follows local cones as this one does.. The new access hole does not void any written warranty for the unit. We will be glad to be there for any service needs in the future. Please thank the building inspector for his diligence in this matter. We appreciate•his watching for our customers.
