last year.In January,a third through-lane on Pacific
Highway followed suit.
Preliminary traffic data indicates the intersection
improvements (and your patience during construction)
have paid off!Traffic back-ups have been dramatically
reduced,with most vehicles moving through each of —_
the revamped intersections in one signal cycle. For
those of you that routinely travel this stretch of road,
you know what an amazing accomplishment that is!
The improvements have reduced travel times on
Pacific Highway southbound from 1-5 to Greenburg
Road by about 20 percent. Northbound travel time
between Walnut Street and Highway 217 has been
