The City Council will consider changes to the solid waste rate structure at its October 23 meeting. The
Solid Waste Rate Work Group,which includes citizen representatives,will recommend that most
residential rates increase to reflect the cost of the service.

City staff held a focus group meeting in late July to receive community input prior to preparing a study
on the annexation of the Bull Mountain area. Community Development staff will provide an update on
the status of the study and future opportunities to become involved.
