Re: Structural Review of Proposed Antenna Mount for EDVO Antennas on the Chemical
Bldg for Wash. County Sewerage at 16580 SW 85 in Tigard, Oregon (POR Tigers HS)
Dear Doug:
Artisan Engineering received the existing cantilevered pipe mount sketches from you and
have designed a new mount design for the new EDVO antennas. The new antennas will be
mounted on steel pipes cantilevered above the existing parapet on the chemical processing
building for Unified Sewerage of Washington County at 16580 SW 85 in Tigard.
We have also reviewed the documents you provided for the proposed revision to the antenna
configuration. The revision is to add two new EDVO antennas (one per cantilevered pipe
mount) at each of the existing three sectors. The existing antennas are to remain unchanged.
We designed the pipe mounts for EDVO panels that are about 4 square feet each. We used
a wind speed of 90 mph at an Exposure C factor per the Washington County standard for
communication structures. Refer to the attached calculations and stamped detail sketches.
If you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
4 h r
