The plans and specifications have been reviewed for conformity to
applicable codes. Please submit three (3) sets of revised plans
and specifications incorporating the following requirements:

Provide existing grades and areas of proposed fill.
A storm water drainage plan for both parking lots must be
0 submitted for review and approval. Show size and location of
catch basin(s), pipe size, and type of materials [Section 1408
and 1410(b)].
A. Sizing of all storm drain piping shall be determined by
UPSC Table 14 -2. If an engineered system is to be used
in lieu of Table 14 -2, two sets of stamped plans and the
hydrodynamic calculation must be submitted for review and
approval.
Cleanouts are required on all storm and sanitary sewer drain
piping every 100 lineal feet and at each aggregate change of
direction exceeding 135 degrees [Section 140(b) (1) (B)].
4 Please supply catch basin detail for the Engineering
Department. If you have any questions regarding this issue,
please contact their office 434 -7312.
A. Catch basins shall be trapped by using an inverted one -
quarter bend or welded baffle. Provide catch basins
constructed to OSPC Section 1408 specifications.
Provide an erosion control plan showing locate of sediment
fences, etc. for both parking areas.

Accessibility
1. Provide a route connecting the van accessible parking aisle to
the buildings. In accordance to OSSC, ADAAG Figure 9.

Dear Mr. Funk:
Please find enclosed revised Site Drawings for the Duncan Project (Revision
date 12/29/95). Our numbered responses correspond to your plan review letter
dated December 22, 1995). Per the Planning Department's review, two of the
existing driveways /access ways are to be closed. I have noted this on the
Site Dr.wings for your information. A more detailed Plan will be provided to
the Planning Department at a later date.
4 01! The path of travel from the accessible parking stall adjacent to
SW 74th has been revised (Sheet 1.1). A curb ramp to the sidewalk
replaces the access aisle which ran behind the accessible parking
stall. (See 9 /C -1 for the curb ramp detail.
2. The Storm Drainage (Sheet 1.3) Plan has been revised using table
14 -2, using the 3" rainfall category. The pipe slope has been .
noted also. Please note that the west catch basin has been
relocated approximately 60' to the east. This was done at the
request of the contractor and owner.

I have completed review of the materials submitted in response to
our plan review letter of October 13, 1995. Please submit
a ditional information for the following:
The path of travel from the access aisle to the accessible
parking stall adjacent to S.W. 74th cannot pass behind the
parking stall as illustrated on Sheet 1.1. Submit three (3)
copies of revised Sheet 1.1. showing conformance to OSSC,
ADAAG Figure 9.
/1( The storm drainage piping shall be sized in accordance with
OSPC, Table 14 -2 using 3 -inch rainfall categories. Provide
the correct size and slope specifications on Sheet 1.3 and
submit three (3) copies.
