Dear John,
Here are the deficiencies in the revised plans for the Meyer Sign service changes (permit No.
ELC2005- 00032):
6. The plans still don't show a complete grounding detail. It needs to show the bonding of
all electrodes available on the premises, per NEC 250.50 and 250.52. It needs to show
the grounding electrode conductor as run continuous per NEC 250.64 or per OAR
918 - 305 -0160. Simply making a note, "grounding per NEC" is not sufficient for plan
review.
Questions:
* What are the electrodes available on the premises? Show each one and its bond wire.
* Are you using the copper bar system that Oregon allows for the grounding electrode
bonds? If so, show it. If not, show each G.E. bonding wire.
7. On page El- are keyed notes 1 & 2 a part of this permit? If so, they are not shown in
the fees paid. If not, please remove them from the drawings.
Please resubmit two sets of revised drawings.
Sincerely yours,
Kim Appleberry
