The Uniform Building Code, section 303(d) allows for the
extension of a permit for a period not to exceed 180
days.
Your permit will be extended for 180 days from date of
issuance. Please note, this is a one time only
extension.

You are the registered owner(s) of the above property. The fill
that has taken place on the property is in violation of Tigard
Municipal Code Title 14, section 14.04, for the following reason:
Fill has been placed without a valid fill permit.
The violation shall be abated the following manner: Obtain the
required permit. Provide documentation from a registered engineer
or surveyor that shows the fill is not located in the 100 year
flood plain. Or remove the fill.
The violation shall be abated within 5 days of August 14, 1992.
Failure to comply is a class 1 civil infraction, subject of the
provisions of the Civil Infractions Ordinance, Ordinance 86 -20.

Dear Mr. Rivas,
On or about May 29, 1992, fill material was placed on your above
referenced property. The proximity of the property to the 100 year
floodplain, requires that a permit be obtained for the filling of
property in this area.
On June 1, 1992 you came to this office to obtain the required fill
permit,_ however, you were informed that a document prepared by a
registered engineer or surveyor was needed which showed the
location of the 100 year flood plain and the location of the fill
As of this date, no permit has been obtained for this fill. This
letter is to notify you that a fill permit (with the appropriate
documentation that shows the fill is not located within the 100
year floodplain) must be obtained, or the fill must be removed
within 10 days of receipt of this letter.
If you wish to place fill within the 100 year floodplain, a
sensitive lands permit will need to be obtained. Please contact the
Planning Division (639 -4171) for information on this type of
permit.
