Gillman, COP #813, ACI #01073484, OBOA #751 02 -03 -09 - Veneer Anchors As requested, CTI representative was on site for periodic inspection of veneer anchors at wall faces over storefront canopies on D line at 1.5 to 2.5 and 3.5 to 4.5. The anchors installed, including seismic clips and wire; the Hohmann & Bernard DW -10HS with Seismiclip Interlock System, are approved for use by engineer of record's submittal response and by specifications section 04210:2.2:B.7. Note that the manufacturer's published installation instructions require the clips to be anchored on the studs. Specification 04210:3.1:F.2 calls for anchor spacing of 16" on center vertically and horizontally. The horizontal spacing is at 15" O.C. the face of the wall, however the studs are 16" O.C. only to the top of window and door openings and 24" O.C. above that — the vertical spacing of ties is 24" O.C. above the storefronts. Since this is requisite of the approved system, no non - compliance is noted. Inspected work was completed and done in conformance to approved construction documents, manufacturer's published installation instructions and the special inspection requirements of OSSC 2007, sections 1704.4 and 1704.13. * ** CHECK ONE BOX ONLY*" YES NO 1.
