Clean Water Services has received your Sensitive Area Certification for the
above referenced site. District staff has reviewed the submitted materials
including site conditions and the description of your project. Staff concurs that
the above referenced project will not significantly impact the existing Sensitive
Areas found near the site. In light of this result, this document will serve as your
Service Provider letter as required by Resolution and Order 07 -20, Section
3.02.1. All required permits and approvals must be obtained and completed
under applicable local, state, and federal law.
This letter does NOT eliminate the need to protect additional Sensitive Areas if
they are subsequently identified on your site.
District staff recommends enhancing the stream buffer by continuing to plant
native trees, shrubs and groundcovers within the first fifty feet of the stream. In
order to assist with this enhancement, the District offers a Streamside
Stewardship Program where a property owner within 100 feet of a stream is
eligible to receive 20 free native plants. If you are interested in participating, I
attached the Plant Request Form. Note that forms should be submitted this week
for the next pick -up date which is October 28 and October 29. More information
about the Streamside Stewardship Program is available on -line:
