Construction Documents: At the time of building permit application for new structures designed to accommodate high -piled storage or for requesting a change of occupancy/use, and at the time of application for a storage permit, plans and specifications shall be submitted for review and approval. In addition to the information required by the International Building Code, the storage permit submittal shall include the information specified in Chapter 23 of the Oregon Fire Code. Fire Extinguishers: Provide 2 -A rated fire extinguishers as required per table 906.3 (1) of OFC the extinguisher shall be located so that no usable space has a distance greater than 75 feet to the extinguishers. OFC 906.3 Clearance: The clearance between the sprinkler deflector and the top of storage shall be 18 in. or greater. NFPA 13 8.5.6.1 Loads Posted: The racks shall display in one or more conspicuous locations a permanent plaque not less than 50 square inches in area, showing the maximum permissible unit load in clear legible print. OSSC 1603 Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be maintained on the jobsite.
