Description
PermaPly 28 is a light weight, asphalt- coated, fiber glass base felt.
It is manufactured by coating a Johns Manville wet process fiber
glass mat with a weathering grade asphalt and then surfaced with
a fine mineral parting agent.
PermaPly 28 is well suited as a replacement for coated organic #g
base felts, as the fiber glass (inorganic) mat reinforcement is rot 44,

Description
GlasPly IV is a specially constructed ply felt that is formed by
coating a JM wet - process fiber glass mat with a light film of
asphalt which is then surfaced with a liquid parting agent that
prevents sticking in the rolls while providing a clean, easy -to -mop
surface. Laying lines are applied on the top surface of the felt so it
can be installed with the exposure needed to provide the correct
number of plies required by the specification.

of a Johns Manville fiber glass mat with a high quality coating

Use
GlasKap is used as the uppermost finish ply in a variety of built -up

well as the benefit of a reflective surface when white granules are
used.
When installing GlasKap, it is important that the mopping asphalt
