Project: Tetra Plastics
Subject: Electrical Plan Review (ELC96 -0149)
Dear Mr. Tasker:
The plans submitted were reviewed for conformity with the 1993
National Electrical Code (NEC) and the State of Oregon Electrical
Specialty Code. The following was noted:
1. The 1993 NEC is the minimum electrical requirement.
2. The feed taps that do not comply with NEC 240 -21 will require
overcurrent protection at their source.
3. The Optional Calculations used for this project will need to
be supplemented with an electrical interlock to prevent
service overload. Please address this protection in future
drawings and calculations.
4. The electrical "drops" (your letter dated 3/6/96) that
terminate at an overcurrent device are feeders, and those that
terminate at equipment are branch circuits.
5. The permit does not indicate any control, low voltage or
signal circuits.
Please contact Michael Rudd at (503) 639 -4171, ext. 356, to discuss
the electrical notes.
Thank you for your cooperation,
w
