RE: Ryder Truck Rental Site Plan Review

Submittal documents for the above referenced project have been reviewed for
conformance with the applicable 1996 Oregon Specialty Codes and other applicable
codes and standards. The following comments are noted:
1. Roof storm drainage piping must be connected to an approved storm drainage
system [Section 3207 and 2905(f) and OPSC Section 1401].
2. Submit a parking lot layout detailing regular, compact, and handicap parking stalls,
off -load aisle, and accessible route for handicap accessibility.
A. Parking accessible to person with disability shall be provided.
1. Accessible parking spaces shall be located on the shortest
practical accessible route to the building entry [OSSC, Section
1104.4.5].
2. The accessible parking and access aisle shall be located on a
surface with a slope not to exceed 2%.
3. Provide a more detailed parking plan showing elevations and
slope of the accessible parking and route to the building entry.
B. At least one accessible route shall be provided within the boundary of the
site, from public transportation and public streets and sidewalks, to an
accessible building entry.
1. Provide a route in accordance with OSSC, Section 1103.2.
3. Catch basins shall be trapped by using an inverted one-quarter bend or welded
baffle. Provide catch basins constructed to OSPC Section 1408 specifications.
4. Sizing of all storm drain piping shall be determined by UPSC Table 11 -2. If an
engineered system is to be used in Lieu of Table 11 -2, two sets of stamped plans
and the hydrodynamic calculation must be submitted for review and approval.

A. Provide a utility plan showing the location, size, type, and slope of piping for
storm sewer and catch basins.
5. Provide an erosion control plan in accordance with requirements of the Unified
Sewerage Agency.
