Maloney, Stanlock by Standard Products, Setting and Edge Blocks by Tremco. 2.5 FABRICATION A. Glass Cutting: 1. Cut glazing panels to size required for measured opening. 2. Provide adequate edge clearance and glazing panel bite at glazing channel. 3. Cut glass prior to tempering. 2.6 EXTRA STOCK A. Tinted Glass: 1. Furnish one extra panel of each 3 foot nominal wide tinted tempered glass. 2. Furnish one extra panel of each 6 foot nominal wide tinted tempered glass. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.1 PERFORMANCE A. Installation of Glass: 1. Do not install sheets which have significant edge damage or other defects. 2. Install setting blocks at quarter points. 3. Install spacers and compression gaskets as recommended by glass manufacturer. 4. Install glazing tape or gaskets on frame and stops continuous at glass face. 5. Compress foam glazing tape or gaskets at least 25 percent of thickness with minimum finished thickness of 3/32 inch. 6. Comply with requirements in Glazing Manual by Flat Glass Marketing Association. 3.2 COMPLETION A. Adjusting Defective Work: 1. Replace broken or damaged glazing panels prior to Substantial Completion. 2. Replace scratched polycarbonate sheet prior to Substantial Completion.
