STANDARD CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
The seismic control restrained spring isolator is designed for use in isolation floor mounted sources of noise and vibration
located near critically quiet areas when there is a possibility that the equipment to be isolated will be subject to the external
forces associated with an earthquake. A lateral spring stiffness greater than 1.0 times the rated vertical stiffness and a minimum
of 50% overload capacity assures stability of the isolator. The steel hanging assembly limits both lateral and vertical movement
during an earthquake without degrading the vibration isolation, limiting equipment motion to 0.2" in all directions. The isolator
has an epoxy powder coated coil which is color coded according to load capacity.
