Dear Mr. Poskin,
The following items, under the heading of Energy Compliance, was
responded to in the following manner:
Item # 1
The glazing of our McDonald's Restaurant shall have a shading
coefficient of 0.57.
The following items, under the heading of Fire and Life Safety, was
responded to in the following manner:
Item # 1
McDonald's will supply a set of building keys in a (Knox) key box
mounted to the exterior wall 10' above finish grade and adjacent to
the right side of the main entry door.
Item #2
The main shelving for dry storage, located in area #106, (as shown on
sheet Al), is freestanding, assembled wire shelving installed on roller
tracks. This shelving was meant to roll back and forth, providing
maximum storage efficiency. The tracks have bumper guards at
each track end, which contain the shelving to a confined area.

Item #3
Type 2 -A fire extinguishers are located throughout our building so
that the travel distance to an extinguisher does not exceed 75 feet.
See sheet K1 for location of extinguishers.
Item #4
Our trash enclosure is a wood structure with 8 foot high walls. We •- 1 A'
provide a steel trash compactor, which is totally contained in steel.
We hope this will suffice with regard to UFC, section 1103.2.2.
Item #5
We have contracted with Interface Engineering to provide the Fire
Flow Testing pursuant to NFPA 291. They will execute the "Hydrant
Flow Test Report Form ", and complete the "Fire Flow. Work Sheet ".
Interface will send this info to Tualatin Valley Fire, with a copy to
the City of Tigard.
The following items, under the heading of Structural, was responded
to in the following manner:
Item #1
Attached you will find an original copy of the Lateral Analysis. The
cover sheet bears a wetseal by the engineer, and each subsequent
sheet has been initialed by the engineer.
Item #2
Attached you will find our engineers design which specify's
attachment requirements for the permanent HVAC units located on
the roof. (See 11x17 sheet S3)
The following items, under the heading of Mechanical, was
responded to in the following manner:

Item #1
See Sheet Ml, Air Balance Schedule: Units are permanently set for
continual flow of outside air. The economizer is specified for "free
cooling" use to ensure 100% continual flow of outside air only when
the outside air temperature is between the set points. Air flow
reverts to the Air Balance Schedule during economizer shutdown, to
ensure positive conditions.

It is acknowledged that the interlock system will be compliance
tested under the mechanical permit.

See Sheet E4, Interlock Diagram: An interlocking switch has been
provided.
