Pursuant to my discussion with Maris Buxton, I am submitting the following request for
your consideration.
The above referenced Building and Site Permits (although not issued) are scheduled to
expire on or about May 9 of 2007. Our anticipated construction start is sometime early
summer and, as such, we would like to request an extension for an additional 180 days.
Would you please consider this letter as our formal request for an extension and advise
me as to the disposition of both the Building and Site Permits upon receipt of this letter.

The Building Division has completed the review of the project listed above. The project has not been
released by either the Planning Division or the Engineering Division at the time of this letter, so the Site
Permit cannot be issued. If you have questions please contact Maris Buxton @ 503 - 718 - 2453.
The date of this letter begins. the 180 day thine limitation in accordance with Section 105.3.2 of the State of
Oregon, Structural Specialty Code, 2004 edition. If the permit has not been issued within the time
limitations referenced m section 105.3.2, the work shall be con abandoned and the plans will be
ex ired.
