The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004 edition
and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF&R. The following information is required in order to
complete the review.
"Construction documents shall be of 'suffrdent clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent e thee work proposed and
show in detail that it will conform to theproriaions e-thu code and relevant laws, onlinances, rules and regulation (OSSC
106.1.1). The following it formation is regrared in order to complete the review."
STRUCTURAL
1. The structural revi was completed by Miller Consulting. The plan review #1 dated July 25, 2006, was
mailed to Froelic Consulting Engineers for response (review doc. attached).
FIRE LIFE AND SAFETY / GENERAL
2. Revise; The common path of egress travel for Suites 206, 207, 306, and 307 exceeds 100 foot travel
distance. OSSC 1013
"COMMON PATH OF EGRESS TRAVEL. That portion of exit access which the occupants are
required to traverse before two separate and distinct paths of egress travel to two exits are available.
Paths that merge are common paths of travel. Common paths of egress travel shall be included
within the permitted travel distance."
3. Provide roof assembly design information showing roofing meets performance requirements per
OSSC 1504, chapter 16 and OSSC 2603.
4. Provide locations /information on overflow drains or scuppers being used as required by OSSC 1504.
5. Provide construction information for interior wall design, connections to floor, roof etc., gage of metal
studs used and all bracing information per chapter 16 OSSC. OSSC 106

6. Provide ceiling construction framing and design information showing ceiling meets chapter 16 and
ASCE 7 -02, or if using Armstrong system provide framing and construction details along with listing
information. OSSC sec.106
7. Provide energy forms as required per chapter 13 OSSC
8. Provide lateral load design information on exterior glazing per OSSC 2404.
10. Provide a copy of the tested and listed 1 hour fire wall assembly as noted on the plans as U417 -F..
11. Deferred submittals such as Truss Joist Shop Drawings, TJI floor joist, Acoustical ceiling suspension
system, Fire stopping, Intercom system, Specialty retaining walls, etc, will be charged a deferred
submittal fee based on the valuation of the portion of the work being deferred. The minimum fee shall
be $200.00. This fee is in addition to the project plan review fee based on the'total project value. OAR

`Documents for deferred submittal items shall be submitted to the registered design professional in responsible charge who
shall renew them and forward them to the building gfaal with a notation indicating that the deferred submittal documents
have been rerdewed and been found to be in general cniyormancr to the design of the building. The deferred submittal items
shall not be installed until the design and submittal documents have been *pined ed by the building oftidal Oregon
Structural Specialty Code Section 106.3.4.2"
