The problem involves the heavy equipment stored on the rear and side of the property. The dump trucks and backhoe violate the following section of Tigard Municipal Code #18.142 HOME OCCUPATION: "18.142.050 Approval Criteria: (e) There shall be no outdoor storage of materials, vehicles or products; (j) The use shall not require any additional parking other than that which is required for the residence." The requirements are not being met. The Planning Division has contacted me to inform you of the requirements needed to correct the problem(s). The vehicle(s) and equipment must be removed within ten days from the above date. If the ten days is not enough time, you may contact me and agree to sign a Voluntary Compliance Agreement, which gives an extension if we can agree upon a future date for compliance, otherwise the limit stands. Failure to comply with these provisions could result in a citation being issued for a Class 1 Infraction and the home occupation permit being rescinded. This is a measure I hope to avoid and feel is unnecessary. Your permit is due for renewal in June of 1989. I have been instructed to inform you of the need to contact the planner on duty to discuss the above information. Thank you for your attention to this problem and I will await the resolution of the matter within ten days or your agreeing to sign an agreement.
