Mark, Sony for not being near the phone when you called last week, but I was out of town. You had a question regarding the footing size at the existing house. The house has had a new footing and foundation installed within a couple years and according to Scott Hall (owner and builder) the existing footing is 12 "deep and 18" wide, which is oversized for this two -story house. Scott Hall also asked me to change the lumber grade to allow #2 or better instead of #1 or better and he wishes to use W CDX plywood on the roof in -lieu of 5/8" plywood. Neither of these changes will affect the structure and meets the building code. Please mark up the permit drawings to reflect these changes and let me know if there is anything else you find that needs to be addressed.
