Existing Conditions:
Contractor shall verify all existing conditions, dimensions
and elevations, and notify the engineer of any discrep-
ancies from conditions shown in the drawings prior to
starting work.
Temporary Shoring:
Contractor shall be responsible for any temporary shoring
required to provide stability during the course of work.
Sawn Lumber:
411 guardrail posts shall be pressure - treated Hem -Fir or Doug -Fir, No. 2 or better.
All other sawn lumber shall be treated outdoor H -F unless noted otherwise.

Nails and fasteners:
411 nails shall be common nails with min. Fyb = S0 .si.
411 bolts and threaded rods shall be 4301 or better.
Pre -drill 10% of shank diameter for all lag screws.
