The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2007 edition; the State of Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) 2005 edition and the
Oregon Fire Code 2007 edition. The submitted plans have been reviewed and the following
information is required prior to issuance of the permit.
1. Although calculations have been provided for the retaining wall shown on sheet S -17,
note # 1 under said detail states that the final wall design is to be provided by the
contractor. Please clarify if the wall design provided is to be used or if the final wall
design is to be a deferred submittal. Furthermore, the calculations provided do not
address the chain link fence to be set at the top of the retaining wall. Please provide
documentation from the engineer of record that the wall design has taken into
consideration the effects of this fence.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
