1. The business name is Hart Saddlery & Crafts, LLC
2. The business will manufacture and sell articles of equestrian tack, saddle pad covers, other similar
articles. We may acquire candle, stained glass, quilt or other craft items for sale. These articles
will be made available for sale to equestrian groups, at events and via the web. No customers are
expected to be on the premises. No shipping service pickups are anticipated at this time, although
we would be pleased if the need arose.
3. The business will be run from the home. The home is approximately 3012 Sq Ft. of which
approximately 468 Sq. Ft. (15.5 %) will be devoted to the business.
4. Equipment in use for this business will include two sewing machines, a drill press, small heaters
for sealing plastic webbing, hand tools for leatherwork, and potentially, other leather punches, or
forming machinery. The main source of noise would be a hammer on leather tools indoors on the
lower level of the home. The distance to the property line is 35 ft. The nearest house on that side is
about 60 ft. away from the property line. Odors, vibration, or electrical interference should be nil
to very minimal and not apparent beyond the property.
5. Outside activity may include drying materials on the back deck, or similar. No outside storage is
anticipated.
6. The expectation is that Christine and I will be the owner /employees working on a part-time basis.
We reside in the home.
7. No vehicles are owned by the business. Available off -street parking could support an additional 5-
10 cars easily (see aerial photo) if needed.
8. Telephone sales, in the context of business to consumer, or business to business call centers are
not anticipated or desired. We expect most external communication to be by email. It is certainly
possible that we may call people to arrange agreement on displaying merchandise at events, call
those who have expressed interest in our products, or to confirm order information from time -to-
time.
