Agency/Department: Brief Description of Action Desired and Justification
(Attach Supporting Documents/Justification if Necessary)
In cooperation with the cities of Tigard, Cornelius and with the Wolf Creek
Highway Water District, Washington County, through its Public Works Department,
would like to enter into an agreement providing for the exchange of services
where practical and economical to do so.
Meetings have been held with the various cities' and agencies' representatives
and details have been worked out as to implementation of such an agreement.
Because of the economics of being able to share in the use of specialized
equipment or services without having to absorb the cost of continued ownership,
we feel that this agreement would greatly benefit Washington County.
Your Board previously approved agreements with the cities of Beaverton,
Forest Grove, Hillsboro and Tualatin and with the Tualatin Hills Park and
Recreation District on May 11 , 1982.

Pursuant to your request, I have examined this agreement. It
appears to be in order.
I telephoned the Leonard Adams Insurance Agency and discussed
the matter with them. They have no objection to the agreement
and agreed that it appeared to be in order.
