Jim Flynn of Payless Drug, 641 5151 called 9/13/79
regarding the statement we had forwarded from the
State of Oregon requesting. a post final billing
payment of $451.08.
In reviewing the file and discussing this with
Frank and John of P.W. it `appears the State of Oregon
has not given credit for the $1,000. preliminary engineering
deposit of 11/6/76. In addition_ they also paid $32,000._
March 9,1977.
In reporting back to Mr. Flynn I .asked them if payless had
made payment on 2/6/79 billing of $579.03. He said he
did not know but would. check .the records. He is going bo
contact the State of Oregon and. see. if he can clear up their
records.
May understanding of the account is as follows:
Advance deposit. (preliminary Eng. ) 11/6/76 $1,0.00
Deposit for installation 3/9/77 32,000.
33,000.
Construction $28,315.68
Engineering 3 ,823. 67
Additional Work 890.76
($33 ,030. 11)
Balance Due $ 30.11.
2/6/79
If Payless has already made the payment for I..ix22xinvoice
in the amount of $579.03 it would appear to ms they
have a credit of $548.92.
Mr., Flynn is to check this .out.

RE Traffic Signal Construction
Main Street @ Scoffin Street
Dear Bruce:
This letter will confirm our recent discussion concern-
ing the status of the subject project.
I am advised that the. contractor will receive his poles
no earlier than mid September. Obtaining signal poles has
becomea problem on recent signal projects and this project
is no exception-. The option of using our own stock poles was
looked into'but our poles are not compatible. aThe design
called for mast-arm poles.
Hopefully the contractor will be able to have the signal
in operation by--his contract expiration date or shortly there-
after.
