The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code
(OSSC) 2007 edition; 2007 Oregon Fire Code. Please respond to conditions below.
1) Please provide a permit valuation based on the total work being performed.
Permit valuations shall include total value of work, including materials and
labor, for which the permit is being issued, such as electrical, gas,
.mechanical, plumbing equipment and permanent systems. If, in the opinion of
the building official, the valuation is underestimated on the application, the
permit shall be denied, unless the applicant can show detailed estimates to
meet the approval of the building official. Final building permit valuation shall
:be set by the building official.
When responding, provide an itemized letter stating in what way each numbered
issue has been addressed in the revision.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City
of Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.

Dear Permit Tech.,
As discussed, enclosed are 2 complete sets of s/s plans, calcs, plan check fee and completed
application to begin the plan check process.
This is an existing retail store at Washington Square that we will be doing the interior remodel
on. The square footage on this space is 3594 sq. ft. with a valuation of approximate $ 180,000 . A
plan check fee of $ 1,668.61 fee is included as discussed.
We are applying for the following reviews and approvals:
l.) Building/H/C/Structural - interior remodel consisting of ceilings, partitions, fixtures, cash
wrap, painting, flooring, doors, shelving units, lighting, sales, non-sales and storefront area.
2.) Mechanical-usual remodel of ductwork, grilles, diffusers, supply, return, T-stat, etc.
Equipment existing and to remain. Energy forms enclosed.
3.) Electricai-usual remodel of lighting, receptacles, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. Equipment
existing and to remain. Energy forms enclosed.
4.) Plumbing- one existing H/C bathroom to remain. No work in this area.
5.) Planning- please route, if needed.
6.) Fire-please route, if needed.
As always, any modifications to the existing fire sprinklers, alarms and exterior signage will be
under separate plans and permits.
Please fax any and all comments and correspondence to us upon completion of your review, so
we can address the comments in a timely manner, as we are handling the processing of the
permits on this project. Also, would appreciate your mailing the PC receipt to us in the enclosed
envelope.
