Call to Order and Roll Call Chair will call the meeting to order. Recorder will conduct roll call. 6:02 PM 2. Approval of Minutes: December 8, 2025 6:05 PM 3. Public Comment Call for comments from the public. 6:10 PM 4.PRAB Member Introductions PRAB Chair to welcome new members to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board and share introductions of PRAB members and staff. 6:15 PM 5.Mayor Meet and Greet Mayor Hu, City of Tigard Mayor, will introduce himself to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board with a brief meet and greet. 6:25 PM 6. PRAB Officer Elections for 2026 PRAB Bylaws require that the Board shall elect a Chair and Vice-Chair at its first meeting after January 1 of the new year (PRAB Bylaws Section V- Organization of the Board). 6:45 PM 7. Heritage Tree Program PRAB will convene as the Tree Board and hear nominations/recommendations of candidate Heritage Trees as presented by Lucy Jones, Natural Resources Coordinator. 7:05 PM 8. Public Works Department Communication Update Public Works Community Engagement Coordinator, Jessica Love, will provide information on upcoming Public Works programs and activities of interest to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board. 7:15 PM 9.Parks and Recreation Manager Update Parks, Recreation and Green Infrastructure Manager, Rick Gruen, will provide updates on park related policies, programs, and projects of interest 7:25 PM 10. Recreation Update Update, overview, and future Recreation offerings from Kaitlyn Leaf, Recreation Program Coordinator and Justin More, Recreation Program Specialist. 7:35 PM 11. Park Updates Projects and operations update from Parks Supervisors, Martin McKnight and Greg Stout. 7:45 PM 12. Advocacy Items Parking lot from prior PRAB meetings for further discussion at a later date: •Park policy/rules - trail safety; drone use •Park policy - maintaining the integrity and existing footprint of parks; protect park assets from being monetized to outside interest/uses •Support for Trail System funding strategy •Support for Park Ranger position 7:55 PM 13. Non-Agenda Items 8:00 PM 14. Call to Adjourn Upcoming Meetings: •PRAB Meeting – Monday, February 9, 2026, 6:00 p.m. •City Council/PRAB Annual Meeting – rescheduled for March 2026. Date TBD.
