Ken,
A film crew simply parked in our lot for less than 48 hours. They are gone now. They did not film here.
They did not "camp" here. They parked while they filmed somewhere in the area—I don't know where.
As code violation reports are public records, please provide copies (electronic preferred) of all
information concerning alleged complaints against the church under Code Compliance Record
NCC2025-0232. This includes correspondence, documents, emails, records of phone calls, online
complaint submissions, photos, etc.
Is this public records request sufficient, or do I need to also request on the city website? Please advise.

Good afternoon Tim and Pastor Dorothy,
I am following up regarding a recent report concerning activities on the Christ the King Lutheran
Church property. The report indicated that a movie production crew may be using the parking lot for
trailers and equipment, and that there may be a transient individual camping in an RV on-site.
Please review this information and advise whether the reported activities are occurring. Regarding
the movie production, Planning has noted that certain temporary filming activities may require a
Temporary Use Permit(TUP), depending on the nature and duration of the use. If this is a short-
1
term event that will conclude quickly, it may not require a permit, but it is important to confirm with
Planning to ensure compliance.
Please contact the City of Tigard Planner on Duty at 503-718-2421 or tigardplanneronduty@tigard-
or.gov if you have questions about whether land use approval or a TUP is required for these
activities.
Additionally, please ensure that any overnight parking or camping on the property complies with
Tigard Municipal Code.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please let me know if you have any questions or
updates regarding these reported activities. You can reach me at 503-718-2581.
Best regards,
Ken

Good evening Tim,
Thank you for the update. Since you have indicated that you do not intend to submit a request for
land use approval, does this mean that the church property will no longer participate in the Harvest
Hosts program?
Please let me know so we can accurately update the status of the case.
Best regards,
Ken
