I believe this one would fall under RD905 (attached). Impacted ramps need to be replaced with ramps that meet current standards. It would require a max extent feasible memo (or design deviation) to Joe W for sign off to have something else. I have a couple of these if my ramps cannot meet slopes or our ROW is limited. But again, preferably these would be designed and signed off on prior to construction. I hope that helps! Give me a call if you would like too, 971-413-5875 ~Nichole ________________________________ From: Shasta Billings-Beck <shastab@tigard-or.gov> Sent: Tuesday, February 13, 2024 10:32 AM To: Nichole George <nicholeg@tigard-or.gov> Subject: FW: ADA Ramp- 135th and Walnut St Hi Nichole, There is currently an ADA ramp in the NW corner of the intersection of SW 135th Ave and SW Fern St that Emery thinks will likely be impacted during pipeline installation for the Reservoir 18 project (photo attached). Since it is in COT jurisdiction Emery is asking for permission to restore to its original/existing condition. Will you please confirm if that is acceptable? If possible, direction by the end of this week would be wonderful! Since this ramp is not called for removal/replacement in the contract drawings and it is in COT jurisdiction, I want to confirm that we can replace it by restoring it to its original/existing condition. With a similar situation at 153rd Terrace and SW Wintergreen St, we replaced the ADA ramp in like-kind as well, but this was in County jurisdiction. Looking forward to your thoughts.
