It doesn't make sense to proceed though the suite numbers in that order. I've encountered a lot of issues with discrepancies between the suite letters and our data at this location previously. I don't know who originally addressed this building but I have found that the data points don't always match the real-world position there. I double checked with the applicant last week and he confirmed that their attached plans provided with the application show the remaining suite W1 in the correct location—and that W1 will still be in use. Given the history of discrepancies at this site I'm pretty sure it was our locations that were incorrect. If W1 is remaining and another W suite has to reside between W1 and X, then W2 makes more sense. I've updated the point locations and retired the suite W point from our data, but Tigard Maps generates the labels as part of the basemap tiles so the labels will not show my edits until after end-of-week automation. Hope that clarifies things, this building always requires bending the normal address rules because the existing suite designations using letters instead of numbers is not very future proof. 1 17, Layer Selection Inquirj 4 x El Primary Map X 16200 S2 16200 S1 16200 T 16200 W2 16200 W1 16200 W 16200 X -os-c 16200 Y 16200 Y2 ..+.. 122.7971931'W 45.4019275*r Thanks, 2 IDIVERSITYHe/HimlHcsreres Public Works E1UITY & 5031 718-298 Direct I N V1ioN OI scarC^tigard-or,y v 13125 SW Hall Blvd c;",`'r3. «"I Tigard, OR 97223 From: Branden Taggart brandent@tigard-or.gov Sent:Tuesday, November 28, 2023 1:34 PM To: Oscar Contreras<OscarC@tigard-or.gov> Cc:Jacob Storm <jacob.storm@tigard-or.gov>; Planner on Duty<tigardplanneronduty@tigard-or.gov> Subject: RE:Tigard Town Square Address Request Hey Oscar, Based on your 2019 email below, I'm not understanding the addressing. Whenever any changes are being made to the permanent physical space of a suite, ie dividing or consolidating suites, etc. an Address and Commercial Suite Application must be filled out and a $50 addressing fee paid for each new suite created. If two existing suites are being combined we must create a new suite number for the new space. This is necessary for both our permitting records and to keep in policy with the regional Emergency Response agencies, as well as to ensure correct delivery through USPS. If one of the existing spaces is already currently occupied by the same tenant who will be occupying the new consolidated space as well, then as a courtesy we can usually retain the occupied suite number for the new combined space. This is not always possible but we recognize it can be a significant convenience for existing tenants and we work to make this exception when possible. I'll reiterate that this is only available when the existing tenant is effectively expanding into the new space and no new tenants will be arriving. 5 Regarding the Lincoln Tower 6th floor suites; since these two existing suites will be combined into a new single suite we'll need to receive an Address and Commercial Suite Application, a $50 addressing fee will be due, and the new suite number"635" will be assigned to the new suite. Also, I notice I have a suite number 610 in our database for that floor, is that suite still in use? Hope that helps, Thanks, Oscar Contreras 1111 City of Tigard iE GIS Engineering Technician II lii + ''• ' 13125 SW Hall Blvd, LGA: Tigard, OR.97223 e (503)718-2687 Direct (503)616-1952 Mobile OscarG,^tigard-or.gov From: Oscar Contreras<OscarC@tigard-or.gov> Sent:Tuesday, November 28, 2023 8:40 AM To:Thomas Fallon <tfallon@bsaarch.com> Cc:Jacob Storm <iacob.storm@tigard-or.gov>;Jeff Benner<ibenner@bsaarch.com>; Scott Anderson <ScottA@schnitzerproperties.com>;Jay Fetherston (JayF@Schnitzerproperties.com) <JayF@Schnitzerproperties.com>; #Building Permit Technicians<TigardBuildingPermits@tigard-or.gov>; #CD PoD<CDPoD@tigard-or.gov> Subject: RE:Tigard Town Square Address Request Hi Thomas, I have completed your address application.
