Mike and I were just outside (around 10pm) checking that tools were put away and everything was locked up and we saw a man dressed in dark clothing with a dark hat walk briskly by and dart into the property behind us along our back fence.We went to investigate and when we asked if we could help him we realized it was Roger Pothoff. He was quite confrontational and said he had the property owner's permission to be there. I texted the property owner to make sure and she told me he was setting out bait (in the boxes I showed you that are placed directly on the other side of the fence from our bait stations) and removing it early in the morning so the squirrels don't eat it. We have felt unsafe on our property for years due to Roger's behavior, but this has me at a new level of uneasiness. Shortly after the city told Roger we were in compliance with his 2015 complaints and we had to have our attorney send him a cease and desist because he was scaring the kids taking photos and videos every time we were outside, we lost our entire flock over the course of maybe a month, one or two at a time, with no prior signs of illness and no evidence of a predator attack.We had suspicions of someone tossing poison over the fence, but no proof. The fenceline he was on is directly behind our coop/goat house. I went back out a bit later to check with a flashlight and make sure I didn't see any bait/poison tossed over the fence, but this feeling that I have to do that every night is just not okay. I am fine with him helping them set traps, but I do not have a good feeling about how that is happening after tonight. I am scared for my animals that I know he wants gone. Again, I apologize if this is not something you are able to help with.... I just don't know who to go to or what to do here. I appreciate your time either way. My husband also spoke on the phone with Tanner, one of Marty's sons two houses down that I believe was on your list to visit today, and it sounds like they have plans to do some cleanup Friday and will be adding a metal frame and maybe some other recycling/garbage to our trailer to go to the dump. Per our phone conversation last week I have scheduled a pest control company to come out.Axiom Pest Control will be here Thursday, August 26th to do an initial treatment.We will be doing their 18 month program which has them come out for the initial treatment, again about 4 weeks later and then every three months ( a total of 7 treatments.) I am attaching the service agreement to show you that it is scheduled and what their treatment covers, but I will send the invoice after I get it for the initial treatment.
