Subject: Updated Property Photos
Ken, attached are the updated photos of our property to show you we did finish getting things put away
from reorganizing our shed contents after replacing our old red shed with a new one. I want to note that
the items in the yard when you were out to inspect the shed and confirm it did not require a permit were
only there as part of the shed project. We removed items from the old shed and placed them in the yard
while we tore that down and replaced it with the new one.We then rearranged some things, specifically,
we moved the animal feed and care items from the cedar shed to our new shed.
The tarps seen in the photos are covering tractor implements, protecting them from the weather and UV
rays. We will likely move them all into one place eventually so that they can be covered by one tarp and
not multiple.
Another note to add is that we recently switched the bedding in our animal runs with used coffee
grounds. After extensive research on the safety of used coffee grounds as bedding, we obtained a trailer
load of used coffee grounds from a local source and replaced the bedding in all the covered animal
areas. The animal runs smell like coffee and it is amazing! The coffee grounds can absorb twice their
weight in moisture and also act as an insect/pest repellant. They make it easy to sift out animal waste
and are a nutrient-rich addition to our compost.
The photos will not all fit here so I will send the rest in another email. As always, I appreciate your time,
thank you.
Kindly,
Elizabeth
