Good Morning Jung,
We have an established code compliance protocol that must be followed. The responsible party has 20 days to
respond after they receive the code compliance violation notice. We send the complainant letter out the same day
as the violation notice so that you can accurately track the 20-day timeframe for compliance.
If, after that 20-day period, the reported property owner continues to engage in code compliance violations, please
let us know. At that point, we will reach back out to the reported property owner and proceed with the next phase
of the code compliance process.
Regarding altercations or hostile behavior from your neighbors, that is a police matter and falls outside the scope
of Code Compliance. If you need assistance dealing with aggressive or threatening behavior, please call 911 or
Tigard Police non-emergency at 503-629-0111. More information is available on their website:
Tigard Police Contact Information
If excessive noise continues, please contact Tigard Police non-emergency to request intervention, and follow up
with me afterward.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to call me at 503-718-2581.
Thank you again for your continued patience and assistance.
Best regards,
Ken

Thanks Ken.
I do not expect a favorable response. We happen to be outside when they received the initial letter and
they said (not knowing we were outside that “they can fuck right off. What we do on our property is none
of their business”.
We would like to escalate as quickly and severely as possible. We were met with aggression when we
and the other neighbors asked them to try to stop their dogs from barking and have been dealing with this
particular issue for about a year on top of the barking.

Hi Jung,
Thank you for the follow-up and for providing the photos. We’ve forwarded the images to the
reported property owner and requested a response.
If the respondent continues to challenge the claims, we may conduct a site visit to verify the
conditions. That said, I’m hopeful the photos you provided will encourage the owner to address the
reported concern.
We appreciate your willingness to assist with the code compliance process, including offering
third-party verification and access for an inspection. I’ll keep your offer in mind as we monitor the
situation.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Best regards,
Ken

Thanks Ken,
I did want to bring up that if you needed additional information, the neighbor on the
other side of the house can also testify to the problems we've had with the dogs if you
need a third-party verification.
I'm also more than happy to let an inspector come to the house to see the first hand as
well.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help get this resolved.

Thanks for the quick response Ken,
Here are pictures taken after 4 PM today on 6/11/25.
Below: The orange handled dog poop scoop next to the dog waste pile that is spilling over the bottom 2x4
of the shared fence causing the 2x4 to rot from the side and now the top.

Good Morning Jung,
Thank you for the follow-up. We spoke with the respondent property owner who refuted the
claims made regarding their property.
Unfortunately, we were unable to download or open the video link you provided. To help us
move forward with this matter, please send clear photos of the reported concerns, particularly
those showing the waste accumulation and any related damage. We can then share these with
the property owner as part of our investigation.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 503-718-2581. Thank you for your
continued patience and assistance as we work to address this issue.
Best regards,
Ken

Good morning,
You don't often get email from jungkim1234@yahoo.com. Learn why this is important

I'm following up regarding reference record number NCC2025-00115. Here is the link for a video from
today June 11, 2025, after the 20 day correction window given by your team. Please see letter below
dated 5/21/25.
As you can clearly see, the neighbor has continued to collect their two large dog's waste along the shared
fence. The pile is about 6 feet long, 10 inches tall and about 2 feet wide and is so large that it's rotting the
fence. The orange handled poop scooping tool is clearly visible against the fence along the pile. The pile
is about 3 feet from my back porch. As you can imagine the smell is terrible and I'm sure the waste is
leaching into the seasonal stream that runs under the property. Both myself and the neighbors on the
other side of the problem house have asked politely to fix the problem along with the excessive barking
and were met with aggression.
Please assist us in getting this resolved. We've been trying to get it addressed for about a year.
