Purpose and Need
Existing bridge was constructed in 1958 and was identified for replacement based ODOT’s 2016 bi-annual bridge inspection report.
Existing bridge’s road surface is prone to flooding and is structurally deficient. Emergency repairs were completed in 2017 with the understanding the bridge would be replaced.
Proposed bridge structure is seismically resilient and is above the 100-year floodplain.
Provides safer conditions for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.
Project is identified on Tigard’s Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) as project #95060
