National Library Week is April 6-12 239,628 people visited the Tigard Public Library in 2024. What is the draw? Everything! From young families stopping in for play and storytime, to teens creating their own text-based role- playing games in Java, to seniors seeking tech help and everyone in between, the Tigard Public Library helps us connect the dots from one part of our journey to the next. Chart your next literary adventure by browsing the stacks or joining the library’s book group. Let an author color your imagination at an author talk, save money by attending a plant swap, and enjoy a musical performance that will make your toes tap. Learn how to improve your English with our English conversation group or join us for a nature walk on the Fanno Creek Trail. Make your mark and get involved with your library by volunteering or spreading the word. Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone. In April, stop by the checkout area for drawing supplies, a word search, stickers and more to celebrate National Library Week with us, while supplies last. Visit the free play area to build with LEGOS, design robots, and try out some tech toys!
