To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in response to review the addition of HVAC(AC 36)on this tire center building as indicated on the drawing
"478ROOF_Tigard(#111)_OR06-23-22". The unit's weight is 1935#.
The new HVAC units will be supported by a new roof curb and existing bar joists.The analysis of the roof curb is not part of
the Butler review. The existing building was supplied by Varco Pruden in 1994(40682)to support the existing HVAC units.
The new weight can be supported by the existing structure without any reinforcement when installed per sketch SK-1
attached. If the new curb supports are more than 6'from the top chord panel point of the bar joist,a diagonal must be
installed from the support to the nearest bottom chord panel point with(3)TEK 4 fasteners at each end.
The new weight will not adversely affect the structural integrity of the bar joists or the main frames when installed as
indicated on"_478ROOF Tigard(#111)_OR 06-23-22"and sketch SK-1.
