PUBLIC COMMENT – N/A 4. SERVICE REQUEST PRESENTATION Nicole gave a brief presentation on the new software system including an overview, About Tigard Service Request, Portal Landing Page View, How Service Request Works, Communication Plan, and Community Support Resources. The system has been live for one week. Submitting requests via cell phone is not recommended. An additional cell compatible option (app) may be added in the future. SAFE STREETS ACTION PLAN UPDATE Courtney and Talia shared a presentation that included Safe Streets Action Plan Overview, Safety Findings (High Injury Network, High Risk Network, Speeding Concern Corridors, and Equity Assessment), Prioritizing Sites for Safety Projects, and Public Engagement Update. 6. CRASH ON GAARDE & OTHER SAFETY CONCERNS Tiffany noted that crash investigations take time, so it is important not to jump to conclusions on crash causes. She will invite a representative to talk about their process. A better approach is to contact Courtney and Tiffany via email so they can decide if it is an issue for TTAC discussion. 7. CHAIR/VICE CHAIR ELECTIONS The vote was unanimous to reelect Michael Hendrickson as Chair and David Fischer as Vice Chair. TIGARD TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE February 5, 2025 Page 2 of 2 8. It is especially important for those in wheelchairs or other mobility issues so they are not forced to travel in the street. C. Michael noted that the new trail connections are awesome. Courtney noted that an event will happen in the spring to formally announce them. 9. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. Joe Patton, TTAC Meeting Secretary Michael Hendrickson, Chair
