Tigard Welcomes First WCCLS Digital Navigator via AmeriCorps
Tigard Public Library is thrilled to welcome Mari, the first WCCLS
Digital Navigator. Mari is serving in the American Connection Corps
through AmeriCorps, and will help community members at libraries
across the county.
A digital navigator is someone who provides consistent technical
support for people in the community, whether that’s basics like how
to use a computer or professional development like how to access
web-based resources.
At Tigard, you'll see Mari in upcoming one-on-one technology help
sessions as well as in classes about AI, computers, and smart
phones.
Learn more about Mari, the Digital Navigator program, and the American Connection Corps from our
friends at WCCLS.
