A RESOLUTION RE-APPOINTING SKIP HAAK AND DENISE S'I EPHENS AS VOTING MEMBERS
AND APPOINTING VERONICA JOHNSON AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE PARK AND
RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS,Tigard City Council established the Park and Recreation Advisory Board to advise the Public Works
Director and City Council regarding park and recreation policies,budget, facilities,programs, and other needs of
the community to provide quality park and recreation services;and
WHEREAS,there are current vacancies on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board;and
WHEREAS, Mayor Lueb recommends appointing Skip Haak, Denise Stephens, and Veronica Johnson to the
city's Park and Recreation Advisory Board.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Skip Haak is appointed to Park and Recreation Advisory Board as a voting member for a 4-
year term,effective January 1,2025 through December 31,2028.
SECTION 2: Denise Stephens is appointed to Park and Recreation Advisory Board as a voting member for
a 4-year term,effective January 1,2025 through December 31,2028.
SECTION 3: Veronica Johnson is appointed to Park and Recreation Advisory Board as an alternate member
for a 4-year term, effective January 1,2025 through December 31,2028.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
PASSED: This 15th day of October 2024.
