Plans are approved conditional to the following items: 1. Exiting: All persons on floors above the 2nd floor shall have access to 2 or mese exits at all times. Elevators are not considered an exit. When the corridor doors are locked, people in the corridor have the choice of only 1 exit. To remedy this problem, this Plans Examiner would recommend leaving off the double sets of doors at each end of the corridor of the floor and using a lockout on the elevators for night security. By doing this. the corridor could be considered as part of a room and exiting through it. would not lie a problem. Because of the locking requirement of the east stairway tower door, the unlocking feature shall be executed at this time so ~hat doors will comply with Uniform Building Code Section l^07(j) . 2. Computer Raised Floor: The underside of the raised floor for the computer room shall be provided with an automatic fire suppression system. This can be sprinklers. Halon, etc. The system, whatever it is shall be monitored by central station that. is monitoring alarm center that is monitoring the building. Not less than 3 copies of the suppression system plans shall be submitted to this office for review and approval prior to installation. 3.
