' This is a Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and is based on the 1985 editions
of the Fire and Life Safety Code (UBC) , Mechanical Fire and Life Safety Code
(UMC), Uniform Fire Code (UFC) , and other local ordinances and regulations.
Plans are conditionally approved subject to the following items:
1. Automatic Sprinkler Plans: Plans referred to and examined by this
office contain no provisions for the alteration or installation of
automatic sprinkler system. Not less than three sets of pians for
the installation shall be submitted to this office for approval
prior to installation. UBC 302(b)
2. Approved Plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans bearing the
stamps of the building department issuing the construction permit
and this office must be maintained on the project site throughout
all phases of construction ead ,nust. tie made available to building
and fire inspectors for reference during required construction
inspections. UBC Sec. 30°,
3. Required Occupancy Certificate: Prior to the use and occupancy of
the project (space) , a certificate of occupancy or other written
instrument of approval mist be obtained from the building
depar _ment issuing the construction permit. UBC Sec. 307
