I am sending this email to report an issue, and I could not get your online software to recognize the address, and Tigard maps was down. I am reporting that inside Tigard business park
217, at the suite located at 12000 SW Garden Place, Tigard OR, I believe they either completed work without a permit, or have otherwise created an unsafe walkway. The Business park
is run by BKM property management, and the suite is leased to Portland jacuzzi, it is building six in the park, and is next to Skyhook Ninja Fitness and the BMW motorcycle dealership.
On the front side of the building, they cut a new garage door into the building, and in the process removed Lawn, and cut the sidewalk in such a way that it ended with a sharp drop on
both sides. One of our customers already fell and hurt themselves there, and is threatening legal action. BKM also removed the Wheelchair ramp in front of our suite without our permission
and against our requests asking for it to remain when they redid part of the sidewalk. I am afraid that the combination of the lack of wheel chair ramps, combined with the precipitous
drop off in the sidewalk opens me, the business park, and the city to potential legal action. I am unsure if they had the work that has been completed permitted, but regardless, I do
not believe it is safe or well done.
Please see the attched pictures to see how it used to look, and how it looks now. I also hope that I will not be named in this report if anything comes from this, as that might anger
my landlord, and I might face some backlash from them, such as them refusing to renew my lease, so please do not name me when communicating with them. Unfortunately due to the size
of the images, I will have to send multiple emails to send them all.
