Create Your Own Book Club with Book Club Matchmaking!
Looking to join a book club but don't know where to start? Let us match you with other readers who
share your interests. Get started by submitting an interest form on the library website. Once we have
at least three readers who match, we will introduce you to each other and host the first club meeting at
the library.
Enjoy Summer Reading through August 31!
Over 2,000 community members have already signed up for
summer reading. Have you? Kids, teens, and adults can pick up a
free book and reading log through August 31. When the log is
complete, bring it back to be eligible for more prizes. Browse our
programs online to find summer events you'll love.

and Friends of the Tigard Library.

Tigard Public Library will be closed Thursday, July 4 in observance
of Independence Day. Online resources are available 24/7 at
wccls.org.

Summerlake Park | Kids & Families
Parks & Rec and the Library come together to bring you an
amusing musical performance in the park! Mo Phillips and The
Spaghetti Pants Dance band brings the dancing, laughing, and all-
around fun. A terribly unsophisticated way to have a great time.
Games begin at 3 PM, music starts at 3:30 PM!

Get ready for an exciting summertime concert with musician
Nathalia Palis! Nathalia has released five albums of original
bilingual content co-produced and performed by notable Grammy
Award winners. From rock to salsa, Nathalia's songs are produced
in different musical styles and written with the whole family in
mind.

Peace Together Collage Club
Tuesday, July 23 – Thursday, July 25 | 4-5:30 PM
Puett Room | Teens entering grades 6-12
Join local and award-winning artist and author Nadia Shaik and tell
your story using recycled materials to make a collage. This three-
day workshop is a deep-dive into your ingenuity, whether you are a
seasoned artist or just beginning to explore your creative side. Stop
by the Children’s Reference Desk to sign up or register on the
library website.

Jigsaw Puzzle Swap
August 1-8, Puzzle Drop-Off at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk

Get ready for the Jigsaw Puzzle Swap! Drop off your old puzzles
(no missing pieces) in the original box at the 2nd Floor Reference
Desk during the first week of August to receive a voucher for each
puzzle. Bring your vouchers in on August 11 and choose new
puzzles from the community exchange. From 1-1:30, remaining
puzzles will be available for all, no vouchers needed.

form to tell us a little bit about what you like (or what you can't stand!) in books, movies, or music and
we will email you a list of titles chosen just for you.
We can also browse our shelves and select materials we think you might be interested in. Tell us what
you like here, and we'll pull a stack of items, then check them out to you.
