Purpose: Observe subgrade for lot 88
Outstanding Issues:
Lot Subgrade - Lot 88
I observed exposed subgrade for lot 88 as indicated on the attached site plan using a Y2-inch-diameter steel
foundation probe. Subgrade visually consisted of brown silt and was observed to be exposed. Resulting penetrations
indicated the exposed subgrade at probed locations is medium stiff to stiff. Sam notified me a rock truck was
coming today so that 2-3 inches of crushed rock could be put over exposed subgrade.
Conclusion
Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that subgrade observed today, as indicated on the
attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with project requirements and our geotechnical
recommendations.
