Project: NewHome-5-02 Prepared By: Luke McClatchey
Project Name: River Terrace Town Center Date: 01/02/24
Location: SW Roy Rogers Road Report#: 134
Tigard, Oregon
Arrival: 0950 Departure: 1015
Weather: Raining, 40s Permit#:
Site Visit Requested By: Frank (New Home) Met With (on-site): Sam (New Home)
Purpose: Lots 82 Subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
Lot Subgrade
Upon arrival, I was informed by Frank with New Home that crews had prepared subgrade for lot 82. I probed
the exposed subgrade using a%-inch-diameter steel foundation probe. Exposed subgrade visually consisted of
brown silt with areas covered by approximately 2-3 inches of 3/4"-0 crushed rock. Resulting penetrations indicated
the exposed subgrade at probed locations is medium stiff to stiff. Some areas of the exposed lot subgrade had 1-3"
of standing water. At the time of observation, the subgrade in areas with standing water was stiff, but we
recommend prior to further development of the lot the areas should be dewatered and that any muck(soft and
saturated soil) should be scraped away to expose firm subgrade.
Conclusion
Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that subgrade observed today, as indicated on the
attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with project requirements and our geotechnical
recommendations.
